Cutting Electricity Usage

just been told by Npower that i'm apparently using £60 a month electricity?!
so am now paying £83 a month due to a couple of missed payments.
when i was with Powergen two years ago my average bill was £60 a quarter, but when i signed up with npower last year they worked out cheaper.
all our light bulbs are energy savers, dishwasher is on economy wash 95% of the time, but what else can i do to cut the bill?
there's only two of us (plus two cats) and i'm at work most of the time!

Electricity prices have gone up hugely in the last few years, so you can't really compare costs with each other. If your bills show the actual amount of electricity used that will help you compare accurately.
Whether you are using more or not, its always good to cut back! Always turn off appliances at the wall (they use a lot whilst on standby), turn off lights when not in use, avoid using tumbledrier if you possibly can (if you have one!), use a hot water bottle instead of an electric blanket when it gets colder..... and make sure the rest of the household follow your lead!!!
I'm sure there are lots more suggestions, that's all I can think of for nowDon't stress, relax, let life roll off your backs. Except for death and paying taxes, everything in life is only for now... we have low usage we use roughly 149 units a month (about £12 a month).
There are two of us. I am out to work all day husband is doing either 6am-2pm or nights. We run a chest freezer as well as a fridge/freezer. Also a 9 year old washing machine.
Cook and Central heating and water by gas.
Other electrical items a laptop and pc, a broadband modem and router. As well as two stereos. But these items are only switched on when in use.
Not sure what to suggest as a way to cut down. As I want to cut back as well. And I turn things off when not in use and energy saving lightbulbs.
How do you heat your water? If you are using an immersion heater what about cutting back the amount of time it is on if on for long periods.
Is there anything that is rather hungry on electric that you use.
Yours

unfortunately its a rented property, and EVERYTHING is electric, bar the gas fire, which is only on a few months of the year. Water (and central heating in Winter) is heated by Economy 7 at night. Npower seemed surprised when my Low reading was a LOT higher than my Normal, but i assumed this was to do with the Economy 7..?Payment a day challenge:
