Dealers do collection and delivery, plus we are doing price match at our dealership. dealers can no longer afford to be pricey, so i'd barter and you'll get the better quality service and good price all in one.:A Luke 6:38 :AThe above post is either from personal experience or is my opinion based on the person God has made me and the way I understand things. Just wanted to say thanks for this. I went back to the dealer and they knocked a further 10% off their original quote, bringing it line with other quotes. I've used them for every other service and really like their work, so I'm pleased I went back to them. Thanks for the advice.0 -

And I would like some too before I take my Mazda RX8 to the dealer0

I've used them twice.
First time was fine - good service, clean car returned on time. Though we did have a conversation about the extras that were required to meet the servicing spec of the manufacturer, whereas their quoted price is a standard service which didn't include something. They did inform me of this before they did the work, but after they had collected the car from me. So the final cost was more than initially quoted but less than the dealer would have been.
Second time, I asked them to check the clutch and they phoned me to say the clutch was knackered and they could fix it same day for 20% less than dealer's price. I was pressurised and agreed but in retrospect I don't know if the clutch was totally knackered or not.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. one more thing, I don't know if they are still advertising that they have been on Dragon's Den. They struck a deal on DD but the deal never went through, so there is no connection to any of the dragons now.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. If you look on their website they are still playing the Dragons Den card.
Quite a few complaints about unnecessary upselling, cars not collected or delivered on time and poor customer service. I think we had a garage on here or Pistonheads approached to be a Servicing Stop garage. For a £100 service the garage would receive around £40. I can't see how corners won't be cut for that price including collection and delivery. The man without a signature.0 -
