Hello All,
After viewing these forums for a while I have decided to join
I was wondering if anyone could help me though...
I have an abbey loan which was origanally for my car but i have extended it since. I want to pay it off now though but im not allowed to pay any extra to it a month I have to clear it in one go if I want rid of it. I have started saving and was wondering...
If they give me a settlement figure of say £2000 is this the very minimum they are going to take or if I say well I have £1600 right now and can pay it would they take it? basically is it negatiable?
Any advice or tips would be appreciated before I call. If I can get away with giving them less I will.
Thank you in advance.

No, there would be no reason for them to accept less.0

If your payments are up to date or only slightly behind they won't take an offer.
