Wholefood Pistachio nuts

Hi everyone

I bought a 200g pack of wholefood (no salt, just as they are!) pistachio nuts from Tesco yesterday. There wasn't a price on the shelf, so I just bought them - anyway, checked my receipt and they were £2.70:eek:

Does anyone know of a good place to buy these cheaper, even if it means buying a big bag? Try to make a healthy choice and it's cheaper to buy c-rap!

They do 150g bags of pistachios in poundland,that is if you ever pop in there.

For unsalted you'll be hard pushed to beat that price although, strangely enough, Tesco has a multi pack offer which does just that: 180 grams for £2.

try a Halal/Asian grocer if you have one nearby, they usually have pistachios in all their forms at pretty good prices

Turkish shops are cheap too, I just rub the salt off in the palms of my hands before noshing them.
