Free searchable database of Research Papers

Hi all,

I'm starting my MA in Marketing and I have forgotten all the great searchable databases for research papers. I need them so I can use this month to try and get some of the course work done before uni resumes ( Just started a family so I need to get a head start on work). Mintel and Athens ask for passwords and I have not and will not be given mine until mid october. Any suggestions. BTW I'm not gonna copy, I just need sources to refer to and back up my own points.

Your university or college should give you a login for athens, that'll get you access to things like emerald.
there's also google scholar, or citeseer, it really depends what sort of research papers your after

my athens password just expired other wise i would have pm'd u it. Hopefully, some kind soul will PM u their ATHENS password- after all it costs them nothing and helps u out a great deal, although it is against uni regulations but who cares

It cost a friend of mine her access to Athens - she now has to finish her degree without access to the bulk of research papers...

Thanks everyone. By no means would I ask any one for their athens password. I was just saying that I am aware of that site but it is not free to access. I knew of a non-cheat , free to public academic database, I just can't remember it.
