Finally received my email and it's a resounding NO!

Received an email today to say I was unsuccesful and also a phone call from Npower to offer me a quote for cheaper gas and electric!

Yayyyy!!! Finally got my email today!! :T

Its a thanks but no thanks, but at least now I know I didnt miss it!

I also got a call from Scottish Power yesterday. My son answered it, and they asked for "Mr ..." (he has a different surname to me) and he said there isnt a Mr, but there is a "Mrs" (actually I'm a "miss"...) Anyhow, they said that I had entered a competition for shopping vouchers at John Lewis and I had won! When I asked them why I would have entered as Mr and then Mrs when I've never been either (I think I would know my own name if there was a prospect of a win) and that the nearest John Lewis is ten miles away so it's not somewhere I'd shop, they promptly went on to try and persuade me to change my dual fuel to their gas.

I said the reason I'm on dual fuel is that it works out cheaper, so why would I move to their gas? The caller told me that I could have dual fuel with them if I wanted and when I told them I didn't want to change companies, she ended the call! How gutted was I that she didn't tell me how to claim my vouchers!! :rotfl:;)

Back to subject, looks like I'm off out to look for a new fridge tomorrow...

yup i've had the NO email too. I've had Scottish Power ringing me twice a day every other day for weeks now. Done well haven't they? give out a few fridge freezers and get loads of contact numbers for constant cold calls :mad::mad::mad:

I bet if i'd have switched suppliers following the first call, I would be expecting delivery of a new fridge freezer
