Thanks for your reply, davester. I don't use firefox but i've recently installed Windows 7 as my OS and ever since then I can't access
the surveys from Newvista, any ideas to help me please :)

mmmm The firefox issue was exactly as you describe you have with your IE, alternativly ether install a lower version of IE or try firefox incase your haveing the opposite problem to me. Some NV surveys work in firefox just some don't and have to load in IE.

I was a member, but then I made a couple of errors on forms, no way to change them. I had waited ages to get up to £49 worth of surveys, and they took the lot. I got nothing at all from them - no amount of emails would change their minds. Just be warned - robbing barstewards, their check questions are/were badly worded.

Same issue here - I've spend lot of time compiling their surveys, when my account reached £49 they cancelled saying that "I've failed their quality checks". Sorry, this stinks of robbery to me. Avoid like the plague.

I failed their quality checks on 2 occasions a couple of years ago because I wasn't paying attention but did not have my account closed.

They amended this ruling last year to 3 times a year as the following taken from their faq:-

Do your surveys have quality control checks?
In order to ensure that you give careful consideration to each question before answering, we have added quality control checks to all of our surveys. Points are not accredited to your accounts if your answers are illogical or if a minimum amount of time has not been spent taking part in a survey. These inbuilt quality control questions appear on every survey and are administered to everyone equally. If you fail these quality control checks on three different surveys in a calendar year, you will be unsubscribed from our panel and will forfeit any credits that may have been made to your account.

So, I would suggest, that you would need to have failed the quality control more than just once to be thrown off.

I find them a good survey site although I wish the payout was earlier than £50.

I'm asking a huge favour here. I know it should be on the referers board but I don't have a link to post.

I'm £1.50 off payment (it'll be my second one, so I recommend the site). If anyone wants to join up, could you please let me refer you? I need two people to join, and then I'll delete my post so someone else can have a chance.

You need to pm me your email that you want the surveys to go to.

If you need any assistance at all, I'll gladly return the favour, because I run the thrifty gifty money making thread and I'll help out any way I can.

    Thanks for reading. :)

  • Well I dont like them, I got upto I think was £48 or something like that as I had been filling out a Christmas shopping log for them too and had been with them AGES and loved them and then I went to check my account to see why I hadn't had emails from them for a week or so and it had been deleted got an email response to my complaint saying one of the surveys I did had failed quality checks which is a pile of rubbish as I always fill out surveys with 100% HONESTY!!! They said my date of birth didnt match... I think I know when my date of birth is thanks! I was fuming, I spent hours doing surveys for them, especially those xmas shopping log things and thats how I was paid by them! I suggest avoiding them but looks like some of you lot like them maybe they just didnt like me LOL

Why not ask them why it didn't match, make them show you the survey in which you failed.

But it is easily done to mistype some thing like when they ask your age then later your date of birth and have mistyped your age by accident.

I think your allowed 3 mistakes within 12 months before they delete your account.

Hey sadly I did ask them to prove it to me and also said how I'd never had problems with quality checks with them before but never heard back from them, maybe I'll give em another chance I mean apart from that I liked them, fair reward for surveys, they were visually appealing too and I reached the £49 quite quickly-ish

  • Just re-discovered by cashabck account at topcashback that I joined before christmas, and thought I'd try to earn some of the free cashback on offer

Not a good start. Tried newvista but after completing the survey, it says "We have enough people with your profile for that particular survey...

If you would like to take another survey please click on the button below."

But then it just takes me through the same survey with the same results!?

    Anyone else have this problem?

Is this typical of cashback offers? :(

  • it changes about once a month for that particular survey and sometimes u dont match the criteria they are looking for.
