My neighbour has her house on the market and she has now broken her arm, which means that she can't deal with the garden. It's only been a couple of weeks, but already it makes the garden look like it's hard work.
She usually spends a couple of hours a week in the garden and it would take a full day to get it started followed by maybe half a day a week.
She has asked a couple of people about gardeners and they have said their gardener is too busy this time of year. One of our neighbours pays her gardener £15 an hour for coming for half a day a week.
How much does anyone else pay? Is £15 the going rate?
