Free Chess Sets for Schools

Holloid Plastics are once again running Chess for Schools which will continue through 2010. It is a major nationwide initiative that aims to provide ten free chess sets to every one of England's 25,000 schools, with the intention of creating school chess clubs and inter-school chess tournaments.

Applied for one last year & despite a phone call from the organiser & emails from them the chess set never arrived.:mad:

I still think that it would be worthwhile to ask for them again and mention what happened last time to make sure there is no probs this time.

Please refer to the new email address added at the start of this tread. I presume the one stated on the Holloid website is out of date. I will contact the ECF to get it upated.

Hi,

Can someone contact the mod and let them know that this thread needs deleting. I have been contacted by the ECF to say that they are unable to send any chess set out currently.
