Halifax Backlog ???

Hi,
Does anybody know if Halifax has a back log with mortgage applications. I applied 3 weeks ago but still not heard anything.
anyone in the process of applying or applied to Halifax know of a time scale.. or anybody thats had a response with details of how long it took

went through broker.. rang him up today advised lenders are in a back log0
