Britax Evolva 123 £60

Just decided on which car seat to buy and i got the britax evolva 123 reduced down to £60 from £140 from the Co-op in East Kilbride, this store is getting shut down in February so is gradually getting rid of all stock hence the price reduction;) I called Glasgow pram center this morning for advice and recomendations and after chatting the price is cheaper than what they buy the evolva in for and there selling them for £114.

This is the seat we're currently using for our 2.5 year old son. We managed to pick ours up quite cheap from Boots a while back. They'd already knocked off 10% as part of a deal they were running at the time, but we managed to combine it with both the triple points deal and the 1000 free points on purchases over £50, making it around £80. They are excellent seats, well padded and comfortable and scored really well in the Which? safety tests performed a couple of months ago. That's a great deal (assuming you can get to the store).

Please ensure your seat actually fits your car, your seat could suffer from buckle crunching and come loose in a crash.

The only differance i can see (i think) is that the ultra the side panels can be adjusted which wont come into things too much for me as little one will inherit a booster seat when he is about 5 or 6. If theres anything else youve noticed can you please let me know incase relevant to me.

One of the first things i done was to visit the britax site and go via the fit finder which indicates the seat fits anywhere in the back seat;)

The ultra also has slightly better padding and a more luxurious finish to the material, AFAIK its only the lack of adjustable width that affects its performance.

We fitted little man into the seat and car last night and he loves it, he snuggles into the head support and to be honest this seat (not having seen the ultra) is the most luxurious seat i have seen, the adjustable side panels ive never had before so i wont miss, so overall im still happy with the purchase:j

Boots have this on offer with 20% off for £104 delivered. Going through Quidco first will take give you 6% so just over £6 cashback.

Boots are also giving double points and 500 extra points when you spend over £50 on baby products. Also using a code you can get an additional 1500 points when you spend over £75.

I've just completed an order and the total points awarded was 2832.

Therefore the net price for this baby seat is £104-£6cashback-£28advantage points is £70.

The next cheapest price was kiddicare at £119.99 and you only get 3.5% cashback with quidco and no advantage points.
    Matched betting profits since 11/10/06 = £1,554
