Halifax Children's Regular Saver

Have they actually written to that effect?
I've seen it posted on these forums before that (unlike the 7% Reg Saver) the initial year interest rate is not continued with the Children's account .... but it's the usual story when you want to find something! If you want to test the depth of the water .........don't use both feet !0 -
I have seen it on the branches system - but i agree, had no letter or anything0
-
We have also asked that on it's anniversary and branch staff said that it's still paying 10% on it's childrens regular saver. Both their accounts are still open and would still benefit with its 10%. As for their save 4 it account.....
I guess I have searched that YBS- One day children account instant access pays 5.10% AER which is a branch account and will pay interest twice a year June/December.Time to move forward.
Many thanks.0 -
I suppose it would mean you would still have the keep the save4its though ready for the regular saver funds for next year0
-
Yes, that would not be problem I don't intend to close and withdraw all the money from their save 4it account as I still have their regular saver up and running. £10 on their save 4it account will do. I will still need to apply for it though so i'll keep posted.0

I'm just trying to think where there is a YBS near me0

I have just applied YBS Children One day account for my 2 children. Although Halifax save 4it has upped their rate to 5.05% it isn't good enough. Their money will be going ybs but not closing it though. Good luck parents with young children.0
