A few years ago my dad got a new hair clipper set (I've been doing his hair for years) and I started doing my OH's hair. After a year or so of the 'army do'
he wanted a funky cut, so we went to Boots and bought some hair cutting scissors and hair thinning scissors at about £8 each. They're rubbish! Couldn't cut butter and the thinning scissors just tug at his scalp!
Was in Poundland on the weekend and he bought a kit with a comb, hair cutting scissors and hair thinning scissors. We thought we'd have a try, and they're great. He now has his cool new 'do for £1
