Shop Direct Unknown Accounts

Hi all.
I'm very sorry if the loans board is not the right place for this, I really don't know where else to go!
Upon checking my credit report recently, I have discovered 2 unknown shopping accounts from Shop Direct. I have a feeling that these are accounts that were meant to become IBCs, but the paperwork I sent back got lost (twice!).
I know I need to write to Shop Direct to ask them to amend this information, but my query really is, what on earth do I write?
I have started off with:

Shop Direct Finance Ltd
Merseyside

After recently obtaining a copy of my credit file from Experian I was concerned to note that your company has placed details of 2 unknown accounts against the report in my name.

I kindly ask that you investigate these 2 accounts as promptly remove them from my credit report.

Is there anything I need to include or be aware of when dealing with incorrect info on my credit report? Have read thru Experian's help pages but I trust MSE users far more!!

Sorry I can't help, but you could try the debt free wanabee board. On that board there is lots of discussions about writing to companies to have debts frozen, written off, cleared etc..etc..

They may be able to point you towards some templated letters to assist you.
