I don't know if you've got an MFI near you? I remember getting my wardrobes from there when I was younger.

Failing that what about making one out of MDF you get from B&Q?

Argos have some canvas ones for around £50
Always on the hunt for a bargain
  • Hi, Your local Freecycle site would be a good bet for a freebie.

If you are a member of Makro, they have a zip up Tardis (Dr Who) on offer from tomorrow priced at £29.99.
  • I have just bought a wardrobe for my little boy today from LX direct online. They had canvas ones from about £30 but I got a wood effect one for £79.99. If you go to vouchercodes.com they have a list of discount codes for LX direct. The one that worked for me was for £13.50 (£10 discount plus free delivery) so it only cost £69.99 You could use this on all products - no minimum spend was required. Hope it helps.

I would have a look at the adverts in your local free paper or in any supermarkets where they have a for sale board. You can often pick up some good bargains in these places!

Auction would be a good idea or a second hand shop - an old fashioned one and you could paint it any colour, design you wanted.
