Hello I'm wondering if anyone has applied for a loan with santander recently as I've heard some bad reports of people being refused very often, I was thinking about applying with them, but since I've heard bad reports I'm not to sure who to apply with any ideas on a good option or do you think I should still try santander?

Santander, like any of the high street banks will assess you based on your credit history, income, current debt level, current available credit history amongst other itssues.
Its not possible for people to advise as to whether you would have a reasonable chance of being accepted based on the information you have provided.
All banks seems to be declining people often at the moment, primarily because they have all tightened their lending criteria and people are not considering their own situation before applying.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0
