I'm not coeliac but my daughter is autistic and we trialled a gluten-free, dairy diet for 6 months to see whether this might relieve some of her symptoms. I found that some packaging now is pretty good at spelling out whether it is gluten free or not, so always worth looking on the back of the pack for this info before you buy. You can also if you have some favourite products which do not have this info and aren't on the coeliac website, contact the company direct and ask them to confirm it. Won't help when you're standing in the supermarket staring at the packet of course but may be useful next time you want to buy the same thing.
