Razors with shaving cream in them

I used to use an electric ladyshave but, although handy to use it made my skin dry. I now like a wet shave and I use the Gillette Embrace razor and shaving cream.

Does anyone think those 2in1 razors are good? I once tried the Intuition but couldn't get on with it as the razor was too big for my underarms with the soap block on it.

However, the new Gillette Breeze or whatever its called looks to be a normal slim razor with soap on it. Has anyone tried it? I don't want to buy it and it be a waste of money and me have to go back to my usual razor.

It also seems as if it has perfume in it which I might be allergic to.

  • I have this razor and i'ts ok, but to be honest I prefer regular Gillete Venus shavers with separate shaving cream. I find shaving smoother with a separate shaving cream and I do find after a few uses that the soap get's a bit gloopy and yucky on the breezer shaver. It's smells nice though although the smell isn't as strong as some shaving gels can be.

The Gillette versions are not good enough- they need a cream or shower gel with them but the one by Wilkinson is good, only problem is you cannot use it upside down after about 10 uses as it wont shave, but still fine for the odd leg shave.
  • I've not tried the Wilkinson razors, I don't think. I'll give them a try next time. Only just bought my new Gillette though and they come with two blades so it will be sometime now before I have to buy another razor.

I have the Venus breeze and I wouldnt be without it - its fantastic. I mainly use it for facial hair due to my PCOS and I always hated having to use soap/shaving cream so I tried this one and never looked back - it gives me a lovely close shave and I rarely cut myself.
