Starbucks Coffee 2x340grams for £1.97@ Costco

Coffee Lovers,

Starbucks Caffè Verona Bold, ground coffee, is only £1.97 for TWO 340gram packs atCostco at the moment!!!

Stupidly cheap. I can't find it for sale anywhere else, and the packaging suggests it was originally intended for the US market. It's basically this one (link below) but in 2x340gram packs.

Personally, I prefer Illy, but Illy is £6ish for 250g, this is £2ish for 680grams!!

I saw it in Costco Avonmouth. Don't know about elsewhere.

Only slight catch - best before Aug 2010, but it's in sealed packs, and it freezes well.:T

Sounds to me like it has been reduced to clear. A member of staff at the watford store one told me that if a price ends in.97, it has been reduced. Whilst there over the weekend I noticed various summer stock items have been reduced which end in .97

They had some in Cardiff I bought 2 packs I forgot about freezing it so might pop down and get another 2 packs for the freezer. It is really nice - mild tho- but nice x

Stupid question I know, but I've always wondered, does this taste like it does in the Starbucks store?! I'd love to try it if it did!

I'm a complete coffee addict, but I've NEVER had a Starbucks coffee, so I can't comment!! I would guess not as good.

Drinking it now though, it beats 99% of the supermarket stuff (still not quite Illy though).
