I recommend not using the ones marked with a * due to an online booking fee. #I recommend using TransPennine Express going though Top Cashback to get cashback on your purchase.

Plus bus is an add-on for a train ticket that allows unlimited bus use at the destination for the day - it's not available in small towns and villages but is in larger towns and cities and in surburbs of cities. For example, if you do London to Leeds by train you can ask for plusbus and get unlimited bus travel in Leeds for the day but it doesn't have to be a journey of that length it could be Wolverhampton to Birmingham or Leeds to Bradford.

I'm having the same problem, I've tried various of the websites that are supposed to be offering PlusBus for £1 and there dosen't seem to be anywhere that I can add PlusBus to my ticket, despite extensive searching. Customer services were worse than useless. Am I missing something? Are my browser settings wrong? Or is it just not there?
Anyone had any joy doing this?

I've just tried Huddersfield to Liverpool South Parkway for the 30th June on TransPennine Express' site and it shows Plus Bus available for £1.

A few possible problems I can think of:
    1. You are buying a ticket for after 30th June.
    2. The town you are travelling to is not covered. See http://www.plusbus.info for towns that are covered.
    3. If 1 and 2 don't apply are you selecting a ticket to purchase before you give up? You need to select that you want to buy a ticket before you're given the option of adding Plus Bus to it.
