Financial Advisors

I have a conundrum where I have 2 financial advisors one from a fairly large institution offering to secure me a higher priced mortgage and an independent who says he can beat their price. The first one is also recommending insurance for critical illness which seems to make sense and a policy that pays off the mortgage in the event of my demise.

The problem is that the independent guy has let me down beofre and I am not sure he will come through for me now.

I get the feeling I'm being had in all directions.

HELP!

If he has let you down before, why did you go back to him?

    Try a different one.

We all make mistakes! if you can't trust him, find another one, but don't take a more expensive deal just because of that, any iindependent should find you the same deal.

Independent should be able to beat tied every time. If you dont like that independent then see a different one. However, there is no excuse for going tied.
I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.
