Has anyone got or know abour Ronald Joyce?

Do they really come up very small?

I was reading someone who was a 14 but they needed a 20?

If this is the norm, I might have me a new dress, but if I get it I'll be cutting the bloody size label out! :rotfl::rotfl:

quite a difference but I wouldn't have thought THAT small.

It used to be (in the days of pronuptia) that if you were a 10 you'd need a 12.

All depends how they size them, ie European maybe?

There are a couple of posts on here about them too ~ someone who has an 18 dress but it fits a 14/16, and someone who is only 10 and a half stone, but had to try on a 20/22?

Suppose it depends on whether it's a zip/button or lace back.

The one I'm looking at is 2 sizes bigger than my size but the measurements are the same as mine, so it must just be pot luck!

  • I've tried a couple on I'd probably order a size up but I do float between two sizes anyway. I guess it depends on your shape as shops like to fit your largest measurement

Someone fibbing about their 'normal' size perhaps? Or one of those peeps you see squeezing a size 18 bottom into size 14 jeans

Wow, I know I can be in denial about my weight sometimes but someone saying they're a 14 when they're actually a 22 is a bit too much I think!

I'm starting my dress shopping next week! Can't wait but am determined not to get upset if I end up needing a size 18! As long as the dress fits and looks fabulous..... :D
