Wiping the slate clean

Hi All, I have just sold my house to enable me to wipe my slate of 30K failed IVA. Anyway because I defaulted on my mortgage while going through a bad spot the abbey will not let me re mortgage with them.
Is there any compaines that will help people out who have a clean slate but poor credit rating?
