My partner has just been to the opticians today for a (free with work) eye test and was quoted £239 for some glasses!!!:eek:
We've ordered him a nice half rimless pair with UV and anti scratch coating for $24 (about £15) from goggles4u.com
I know they're a reputable company as I bought my rimless pair from them for £15 and they're excellent. I used a code from here which is now expired, but I managed to find code YRUBSV which gives free shipping and 5% off :T
If you're needing a new or second pair I highly rate them - they come in a hard case with spare nose pads and an adjusting tool, very well packed.

A freind of mine recommended goggles4u as he has bought several pairs of glasses from them in the past, I just ordered a pair today and used the code above for the discount and am pleased to say it still works
