I'm back again!
about 2 months ago i posted on here as i had just started writing to all my creditors to offer pro-rata payments so i'm effectively trying to set up my own DMP.
I felt good when i had done it but now it feels like i have not really got anywhere and things seem to be going backwards.
I have changed banks and all money now goes to a basic Nationwide Account. This has taken quite a bit of time to get used to as there is no debit card so i always use cash (I now prefer this as i know where my money is and i can't go overdrawn) only down side is i can no longer fill my car up in Asda.
I have made the minimum payments to all my debts bar my HSBC loan. I have tried to pay this but every time i set up electronic payment it does not go through. i then put the money in my old C/A and asked them to pay the loan but they didn't and then the money was taken by bank charges. The other really annoying thing is between me and my wife we 5 debts with HSBC but they can't seem to deal with them all together.
The only responses i have had to my DMP is MBNA, First Direct and Barclays who have all declined and said they will pass the debt on. What happens when they do this?
I spoke to Egg and they seemed to think they would take an offer but i still have nothing in writing?
I got to credit card bills today from Asda nad Virgin who are both still charging interest and Virgin charge me a late payment and over limit fee. I paid money on this card but the interest has taken me over?
Living within our means has been hard but we have had unexpected things to pay out which has left us with about £60 to last until 28/6. i got a speeding ticket £60 and our dog was ill so we had to pay out £200 on vet bills which we had to do.
Anyways i just wondered what people thought on what to do next? Shall i phone all creditors and discuss my DMP? Really don't want to speak to HSBC as they are so incompetent?
Thank in advance

Stick with it! Even if they say they are not accepting the payments, send them anyway.
With regards the interest and charges, it’s really up to the creditor if they stop them for you. I would just send them a letter in a month or so if they still have not stopped it. Just explain in the letter, there has been no changes to your circumstances and ask them to stop the interest and charges again.
I have attached a link to the CCCS website for you so you can read through the collection process https://www.cccs.co.uk/InfoCentre/EnglandandWales/Creditoraction/Debtcollectionprocess.aspx
