I've looked at this and the carnations at £9.98 are part of the summer offers so won't qualify for the extra points but if you log on again you will be able to cancel the order...providing it hasn't already gone out!

I think the carnations are an autumn offer, they're classified as autumn flowers rather than autumn bouquets. If you click on "New Autumn Flowers" under the "Flowers by post" section on the left of the screen, they are there.

I'm sure Tesco will honour the deal for people who were sent the email, but I personally wasn't brave enough to take the chance since I didn't get one. Have signed up for the deal of the day email now though!

Yes, you're right. Although I have a horrible feeling that Tesco might try and wriggle out by saying the £9.98 carnations weren't supposed to be part of the Autumn range.

So, just in case, I've taken a screengrab of the page you get when you click on "New Autumn Flowers". The page clearly says "Autumn Flowers by post" at the top and has "Carnation classic only £9.98" at the top of the list.
  • and apparantly the offer is ONLY for people who get the e-mail....but...

mention the http://www.tesco.com/rss/ which at the time of writing is still live. (there is a link at the bottom of the tesco.com homepage)

I did, as that was where I first saw the advert, , and they added 250 points back to my account - good luck!

Argh! I spent ages yesterday trying to work out whether I will get the points or not! I phoned Clubcard who said niether of my orders had appeared on their system yet (?). One was over 24 hours and should have shown apparently, so the nice man said he would add 250 points for that one, but when I asked about the 2nd order, he said the one was all he could do. When I said that surely both should be honoured he said I should speak to the tesco.com people and put me through! The 'flower' people knew nothing of the offer, but said that if that was the offer I will definately get the points....by 28 days at the most! They did, at least, have a record of my orders. Far too confusing all this! Watch this space lol.

I've just phoned up about my missing 250 points and been given the classic Tesco fob-off line which I've heard before from their Wine, DVD Rental and Books departments.......

"The 250 points will appear on your next statement."

Given my past experiences of Tesco.com extra points offers, I'm 90% sure that this was a lie to get me off the phone. They're expecting me to wait till November in the hope that I'll have either forgotten about it by then or will have lost my documents/e-mails relating to the offer.
