Has anyone heard of the clearout club ?

hi this is my first time that i have posted a message so please be patient with me. has anybody heard of the clearout club ? they are a US based internet company and sell things 90% cheaper that the shops they say that you can join if you are in the uk. it costs $20 to join for a 12 month membership. example psp $90 +p+p.seem two good to be true but who knows. if you are the who knows please let me know before i send off my $20 but if this is a ledgtamate company then it could be a cheaper christmas.

yes but with the $ at its best for a long time even with the tax it still works out cheaper that the uk. anyway cheers for my first reply cheekymole

There are all sorts of warnings here about the banking information that the company want, as they do not take credit cards.

It seems that the company do not supply directly, they simply give you a list of suppliers. The "free" incentive to join (PSP, Ipod etc) just refer you to one of the schemes where you have to complete an offer, then refer a few other people. That means that whoever set up this website is getting a LOT of referrals and is receiving free Ipods or whatever from it.

My advice would be stay well away!!
