I think I might be in this week... although I'll need to start with the kitchen/utility and freezers tomorrow. I've been cooking so have stuff to freeze -

    • broad bean, pea and spinach soup (I will make another batch tomorrow, as it's delicous and takes up less room than the ingredients, which are all frozen...)
    • aubergine and mushroom casserole (its a bit like ratatouille I guess, is just onion, aubergine and mushrooms, with a tin of tomatoes and some water)
    • fennel and carrot casserole
    • roast butternut squash (might turn this into soup, or might just eat it all ;)
    • carrot and red lentil soup in SC overnight
Tomorrow I want to make stuffed peppers if I have stuff that will go well in it, and some kind of mushroomy thing, as I have some large flat mushrooms (and plenty of dried ones). Everything needs to be freezeable... and then I can sort out the outside freezer, do an inventory and do some meal planning...
You are so well organised, greenbee, and such interesting recipes.
Actually meal planning and eating better is one area I really need to work on.
Can I ask, are these your own recipes or do you have favourite cookbooks?

    Right, fly-bit.

kezlou - my heart goes out to your little one!

when we forked out for DS to do the Spanish watersports school trip 5 years ago I asked his sisters ' is it worth £600 to get rid of your brother for 8 days?'

they decided it was very good value! And the peace was fantastic!

When he came back his hair was like straw - and the bottle of shampoo was unopened!
