Morning campers connie_wackygirl.gif At least I think it's morning..lol. I had a rude awakening by my phone alarm this morningd_clock.gif Silly me had forgotten I had set it to go off at 5.30am so I was up before DH went to work. I wanted to wish him a Happy Anniversary and give him his pressie (I forgot to wrap it, and I had the paper too :( ) Wow I can't believe it's 21 years married, where does the time go, and I'm only a young un too :D

So I decided to get on with my bits and bobs, and have a cuppa too d_coffee.gif

Ooooh Woody the wood pigeon has just landed on the bird feeder - he is such a heavy bird the whole feeder moves when he lands on it. I don't know who has been on the water bowl but it was catapulted across the garden this morning, I am sure they have a game as to who can empty it first and not by having a drink or a bath :rotfl: Mrs Dove is up in the tree fast asleep in her nest, I have seen Mr Dove wandering around my garden this morning :) I watched them the other day having a hand over on nest duty, it was so funny to watch. Mr Dove really has no idea how to sit on eggs, he was half on the eggs and half out the nest and face the other way too.:rotfl:Mrs Blackbird is strutting around the garden, I think she has found something tasty in the earth underneath the bird table at the other end of the garden :D The little sparrows are using one of my mock orange brances as a rest stop while they wait to get onto the bird table, they bounce up and down on it and it's even funnier when the wind blows as they are hanging on for dear life :D Haven't seen Mr and Mrs Asbo robin for a couple of days, so I imagine they are doing what they do somewhere else, bless them. They will pop up again with a baby robin I imagine

I'm sorry I haven't been around much, I missed my mood stabilisers for 4 days and boy did I know it. I know 4 days is not good and how did I manage that? Well I forgot to get the script filled, then when I did get it filled I forgot to take the tablets. Boy was that a fun trip, I was all over the place and hitting a manic session big time. My mind was all over the place, I was doing stupid things like forgetting I was cooking something and then going off to do something else :( Thankfully I realised before it was too late. I then had strange ideas of how I would pay back my debts etc.. I was full of good ideas, or stupid ideas as DH would say - he knows what I am like I go off at so many tangents it is hard to keep up with me. Those with bipolar will understand what I am talking about. Then I came down to earth with a bump and was walking around all vague and off with the fairies, as well as sleeping for a day :( But I'm okay now, meds are in and I have taken them for two days and they are having an effect now, I can feel myself getting back on an even keel again. I have also sorted out a prepay certificate, that I pay monthly for 10 months by DD, so that I don't have this scenario again. Also I am arranging with the pharmacy that the meds are available to collect from there when they need renewing so that I don't have to remember to get the script from the Drs. No excuse now not to have them every month. :D Just have to take the scripts up to them today, this is on my list.

    Congratulations to
aj for passing your masters :) Well done hon.
Well done to newleywed on getting a job, that's brilliant hon but a shame you won't be able to keep up with us so much :(

Just off to wake DD2 - another day of Geography revision....but it is so nearly over...don't know who is the more tired of it all her or me!

Are we the same person? I did the same with DS1. He's gone round to his friends house. I have made sure the PS3 controller didn't go with him and the geography revision book did rolls eyes smiley man.

the only difference seems to be gender - mine wouldn't be distracted by a PS3 controller - I just have to limit the access to FB!

That and the fact that she keeps wailing 'I'm gonna fail' and sobbing....:(

James Burke but better looking.... sorry, James!
    Awaits "who's James Burke"? posts....:D

Once upon a time, there used to be a BBC science programme called Tomorrow's World which dealt with new fangled stuff such as the moon landings, new sorts of food, compact discs... James Burke was one of the presenters and was hugely enthusiastic, well read, not too posh, good delivery of complex subjects and, if I remember correctly, got to do the commentary on Apollo 13's problematic journey.

Professor Brian Cox OBE: genuine physicist, ex pop star, capable of explaining the large Hadron Collider in terms everyone can understand...:D

I'm not familiar with Brian Cox....but I do remember James Burke - and I still have a copy of his book The Day The Universe Changed. Somehow reminds me of James May but I can't think why!:D

Good morning everyone! Just goin to declutter DS to school (RE GCSE today) and DD to her shift at CAB, then I'll be cracking on.
evening all. I have skim read the thread today but kept getting distracted by all the pcitures of Cox :rotfl::rotfl:.

My sister got some good news today. My niece has won some tickets to see 'Guess how much I love you?' at the theatre. She entered a drawing comp at Waterstones. DS2 entered a drawing too but as his had guns and army tanks on, for some reason it wasn't chosen :rotfl:. My niece loves drawing and has entered loads of comps, but this is the first time she has won a prize. I was really chuffed for her.

Congratualtions to DN :j My children once entered a competition to celebrate Shakespeare's birthday. DS was very disappointed that his drawing of a dinosaur didn;t win *shruggy man smilie* :rotfl:

Wow Jo, thats sounds amazing! Have lots of fun, (i em would still see as a holiday just for the tranquillity of all, while carrying an enormous back pack).

Feeling very sluggish today and my nose is binged and itchy, pollen is ridiculously high where i am, so L (DS2) will not be happy.
He's just got up so better make breakfast for him

    Hugs to all x
