Hi, will be visiting Aberdeen soon and am wondering how long would it take to walk from station (with wheel along case) to Beach Boulevard/The Links. Have looked on google map and it doesn't look that far but..........??? Is it better to get a taxi? Cheers.

Might take about half an hour, it's reasonably walk-friendly. The main problem will be if it rains!0

Hi
I work in the harbour which is near the train station and it takes me 20 minutes to walk down to the beach. It is an ok walk though watch out for the drivers! It can be windy as .... though if you are planning on doing it in the winter. All the best.0 -
might be best to walk up market street, onto union street and get a bus.0

Its easy and not a long walk but don't do it after dark or after the working day, it can get a wee bit tawdry down there at night.
Taxi or bus from Bridge St/Guild St (just outside the station) will get you there fine.0 -
Hi, it takes about 20 minutes. Turn right out of station, left at lights in 100 yards and up the hill (Market St) then right on Union St, at the corner where it goes left you keep straight on, over the pedestrian bit. Stay right and you can cross the dual carriageway at the crossing. Then its straight ahead. It's likely to be windy.0
