£99 for cavity insulation - worth it?

Hello,
I've had a quote of £99 for my cavity walls to be insulated through a community scheme. I learned of the scheme after my neighbor said that they're getting it done. They know someone else whose had it done and the work seems good. I checked it out and it seems legit.
Does anyone reckon this is going to save much in terms of heating etc, for winter time?

Yes, I'd expect it to make quite a large difference to the average house, and would recommend insulating or topping up the loft if you can too. As your house is probably from the early 80's or before to have no cavity insulation, chances are very high that you have substantially less than the recommended amount in the loft as well.
Having previously had cavity walls insulated in two houses I've lived in before, I found both times the house much more comfortable afterwards, and that the gas used by the central heating went down quite a lot.
The energy saving trust website explains more:

They suggest a typical 3 bedroom semi with gas central heating will save about £100 a year.0 -
