How long do I have to wait?

I got an email on 17th May to tell me I'd won a DVD boxset from SFX magazine and they needed my address to send it out. I replied straight away but that's the last I've heard of it.
on 5th June I emailed again to say I hadn't recieved anything and as yet, no reply...
How long do people normally wait for this sort of thing?

A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...

You normally wait 28 working days and then start chasing thingsYou never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

Magazine comps can take a while to come and do sometimes need chasing up, usually up to 28 days is the norm but I won a Tommee Tippee sterilising kit from Pregnancy and Birth mag (Dec 09) issue and after chasing and chasing finally received it 14th May 2010  way too late as the person I was going to give it to had to buy one
but at least I received it in the end :j I'm still waiting for a brush set I won, I was told to give it 28 days but it's now been over 7 weeks, will try and sort that tomorrow.
I'd suggest giving it till it's been 28 working days and then email again, if no reply within a couple of days, forward the email to them and ask if they received it, and again if necessary until you get a reply.
Good luck, hope you receive the prize soon

I won for my hubby a shortlist comp (19/04/10) and got the scooter and gear (beginning of May but was still waiting for the blu-ray disc I'd won so I emailed them aprox 3 weeks ago and was told that it was the PR company who organised the comp who was sending the disc out and it would be sent out shortly, not recieved it as yet.
Other things have come about a month later and some just turned up through normal post2020 wins - Espire passes for Gatwick airport lounge0 -
I think SFX is a Future Mag, We won off a Future mag comp last year and it took over 2 months before we received the prizes. We also had to point out that they had forgot to include a Blu Ray player in the wem. We must have emailed them about 4 times over the 2 months of waiting. Not been in here for years. Life got hectic!0

:TCongratulations:T. I received a CD box set from NME the next day but the average for weighty prizes has probably been around 4 weeks, vouchers etc have usually been quicker.0

I thought it might be about a month... I shall give it a while longer and then try again...
I remember winning a DVD player from a local radio station years ago and had to chase it for weeks before it arrived...
Annoying really, if they know when the competition ends, they should know when they need to send the prize out by!!A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls...
