Iva

Hi

I'm currently on a debt management plan with Payplan, however because I am self-employed I have been told that I have to attend their offices in Grantham in order to proceed with an IVA. As this is completely inconvenient for me I'm wondering if anyone can recommed a company who deal with IVAs and do not charge any fees for this and that can deal with it either over the telephone or attend my home?

Many thanks.

  • I would post this on the IVA board as I am sure they will know more about this. http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/forumdisplay.php?f=159

One can only advise you to do as much research as possible before committing to an IVA, only a very small % actually qualify for an IVA, make sure your within that %, for starters, look here at Martin's (MSE) advice re entering into an IVA.
Click here for Martins (MSE) advice on who to contact with Debt Issues - YOU HAVE NO REASON TO USE A FEE PAYING DEBT MANAGEMENT COMPANY- THEY CANNOT DO ANYMORE FOR YOU THAN THOSE LISTED IN MY LINK ABOVE.

All information given by myself is offered informally and without prejudice - if in doubt seek help from a qualified and insured professional
