Hi girls, i have asked about foundations and got very very good response.... Now i need all of you to give me some advice about powder...
my skin is combination, now that is sunny i dont want to wear fondation but when i do go bare face. my skin is so oily it looks awful.
Can you please recomend a good product that works for you.
I am at the moment using Clinique Redness cleanser and cream as i suffer for redness in my cheeks, so far 3 months on, the treatment is working really well, so well that i do not need foundation to cover my cheeks or any other make up BUT my skin is so oily, it does not look good at all.

Depending on what you want from your powder, I am using cornsilk colour free for the days when I want a matt look but without much coverage, EL doublewear powder is second to none for good coverage but reacts with my skin so maybe not good if your sensitive, Rimmel powders are very good for the price, would you think to try a totally different product for oil control, I usually recommend milk of magnesia under foundation, no oil ever gets through this but if your not wearing any make up then it might be nicer to use a clear base product, No 7 in the white tube is one of the best, its based on milk of magnesia anyway, use sparingly and you should get through the day without an oil slick, also check your diet, since being on a high protein diet my oiliness has much improved I also believe that taking evening primrose oil everyday has improved my skin no end. Now I'm on a roll:otake a look at the snail gel thread on here somewhere, another product that is working wonders on my oily/combo not so great skin, this one is even making my wrinkles look better (temporarily;)) . Another make up to consider now where coming into summer is Ultraglow, its a bronzer powder but comes in different colours and gives a light made up look instead of just a flat bronzer - hth:)Thank you for this site MartinThe time for change has comeGood luck for the future0

My diet is good... since i started trying to get fitter.. i eat quite healthy with treats now and then.

I think they do sell it in Boots, if you have a 99p shop near you keep an eye in there as they had a stack of them recently, which is here I got mine:)Thank you for this site MartinThe time for change has comeGood luck for the future0
