Just bought one and it is great!! My home machine is poorly so used it to put all of my pics onto it just in case it goes bang!!

Thats not a pen drive, its a portable hard drive. It would use the same type contained in the old ipod minis. A pen drive uses flash memory hence why they are so tiny.

this is a good price - there was a hunt a month or so ago for these type of drives in tesco (though they were rumoured to be £15).

I beleive that this has a Micro Drive in it, i.e. a very small harddrive in the shape of a compact flash card. Therefore if you drop it, you loose it
