    You probably need to buy in Amsterdam, as I suspect you won't be allowed to carry the duty free onto the plane in Amsterdam if you buy it in Glasgow.

    You can buy in either Glasgow or Schipol but Schipol is nearly always cheaper. If you do buy at Schipol they will ask you if you want to pay in Euros or Sterling, use Euros because the duty free shop will give you a very poor exchange rate.

    If you do buy in Glasgow, just remember you can in theory buy a larger amount because Netherlands is an EU country, you are restricted to the amounts above when entering the USA.
