opening new savings account for deposit and credit score

My deposit is currently sitting in a very low interest savings account. As it will probably be a couple of months until we make an offer I'd like to put it in an account with a better rate.

If I open a new savings account will it mark my credit score in any way that would damage me for the mortgage application?

Thanks!

Pippa

One of the building societies has a savings account with a very good rate provided you are saving to get a mortgage ( sorry forgot which one) but your money into the best paying account Loyalty does not pay!

LOL well I think that's a good thing with finances. So many people just don't pay any attention to them. Have a good weekend :)
