Lidl Steam Generator Iron

I've been thinking about one of these for a while but couldn't bring myself to spend a fortune on an "iron" ahhhhhhhhhh.

Has anyone bought one of these from lidl before - I notice they're coming on sale on Thursday for £49.99 - and if so are they any good?

Can't see anywhere what the steam rate is but most are about 60g/min with the better ones between 90 and 120g/min.:o

Argos have one for the same price it might be less hassle to take it back if you dont like it. Personally I think they are too awkard and heavy.

i got mine from comet half price in teh sale at £64.99 for a morphy richards one. it is fantastic so maybe look around at other places as well.

mine has 100g/min so very powerful i cant have it on full as my living room turns into a sauna!!!! but on full it is great at heavy curtains
