Anyone else been harrassed by Lloyds this weekend?

Despite numerous request for Lloyds to deal with me in writing I've been bombarded with calls this weekend. We've been out a lot this weekend visiting family when we got back there's been weird messages on the answer phone just saying this is a message for me, when I call the last number on the caller display it just goes to a message saying "you were called by LLoyds TSB, we will call again". Oh joy. They even called at 8 am on Sunday. I just wondered if anyone else was having the pleasure of their attentions this bank holiday?

Luckily don't have to deal with them, but I used to work in a call centre at weekends, and we weren't allowed to call people until after 9.00 anyway, I think it may even have been 10 on Sundays unless they were expecting us.
If they were calling you a lot, and especially at silly times, you could well have a legitimate complaint of harrasment.DFW Nerd no. 884 - Proud to [strike]be dealing with[/strike] have dealt with my debts0 -
I had 4 calls from Lloyds TSB yesterday, the first at 7.50am which was from a foreign call centre which switched to a recorded message when I challenged them about the early hour of the call. My son took the call and was harrassed by the caller believing it to be me.
They rang at 8.45am this morning. I would like to write a letter of complaint but am unsure of whom to address it to. They have been pretty ruthless during the past 2 weeks.
Morgan Stanley have been giving me grief also.
Hope things improve for you soon0 -

I used to have just before 8am calls on both Saturday and Sunday mornings from GE Capital. I had two accounts and rather than call on one day for both - they took day about.
Really did hack me off big time. Woke entire house every weekend without fail. Couldn't even unplug the phone as my mother had to be on call each weekend for work.
Eventually they started to accept the DMP I had set up with CCCS and can sleep easy every weekend - fingers crossed!!!0 -
Well I'm actually on a DMP through CCCS and have been for over a year so I'm not sure what's prompted the hassle this time lol.
I'm not answering the calls as we have call sign set up through BT, so we have two numbers one for the numpties and the other for friends and family they both ring differently so we know who is calling, very handy.
I've just fired off a couple of letters one to the current account people and the other to the credit card people at Lloyds, the main jist of it is:
I am also requesting that any further contact between us take place in written form. I do not appreciate being called at 8am on a Sunday morning and late at night by your organisation. I work shifts and your calls are disruptive and will not be answered. I respectfully ask that you remove my contact phone number from your records forthwith and confirm this in writing to me. Further contact in this manner will be considered as harassment and will be reported to the Office of Fair Trading as a breech of the Administration of Justice Act. 1970. Please note that continued telephone calls after the receipt of a request not to call may constitute a criminal offence under Section 127 of the Communications Act 2003.
All I can say is thank goodness for this place otherwise I would not know what my rights were. Good luck everyone!0
