I think I will be spending some money! - we haven't done any grocery shopping for a while so we have ran out of virtually everything, on our way to Tescos later, and I am a sucker for offers - help! :o

I have just come back....and spent £103 for a weekly shop! Eek! I did buy bulk on toilet roll and other domestic products - and I have people round Tuesday and Wednesday for tea - so hopefully it will only cost £20 next week. I also bought a £15 CD and a £10 bottle of vodka (which will last!) but that is included in the bill.
Also, I spent £7 on a taxi as OH is at work (forgot its time and a third on taxis today!)

I am hoping for a no spend today. I have a monster hangover so I can't see me going out of the house unless I really have to.

Now what was I saying on another thread just the other evening about starting not to drink so much when going out, being one of the best things I ever did....?

I ended up spending £3.02 today on ingredients for a dessert I've made for tonight. So my grand total for the bank holiday weekend is £98.02. £95 of this was on a huge shop on Friday which had to include alcohol + desserts for 19 people. Most of the wine went untouched so is now sitting in my wine rack- it may have been an expensive shopping trip but I'm not going anywhere near Tesco for another 2 weeks and I have enough wine to last us about 2 months!

    Cross with myself today.

Took the dog out blackberry picking (she was useless - just kept running around!). Managed to pick 1lb blackberries, some apples off a tree nearby and some plums which were overhanging the playing field we walked across (I'm not actually sure that's legal, is it )

Got home and got the recipe books out to decide what to do with the berries, and realised that we needed cream.

So I went to Tesco for a pot of double cream.

Made the mistake of taking my debit card with me, so ended up buying a large pizza, reduced from £4 to £2 (so that's now in the freezer), the double cream I wanted, some creme fraiche I *know* I saw that I'll need for a recipe, only I can't remember which book the darned recipe is in now, and some natural yogurt, as I want to have a go at baking the yogurt cake discussed (hilariously) on a thread on here.

I also bought some plain and some milk chocolate (Tesco value) for some baking (I promised the people at work I'd make some millionaire's shortbread and take it in) and a bag of mini chocolate bars (Tesco's own version of snickers, crunchie etc).

So I spent £11.22 that I didn't really need to - all because I went and picked some "free" blackberries! Something's not right there lol

I spent about £6 in household spends. Got some good bargains though 12 bread rolls for 10p and a loaf of allinsons bread for 10p :j . Had to buy some fruit as none left.

Husband bought £20 worth if fuel.

And I discovered that we have two illegal tyres :o My husband claims to check them yeah right what ever. Rang around a couple of places but they where all shut. So going to be a bit pricey tomorrow. Husband can deal with that tomorrow after he finishes work.

Told him I would stump up half. Yeah right like I have any money left as it is nearly pay day. Hello Mr Plastic. So will pay if off before the due though.

    Yours
