David Lloyd membership fees

Just wondering if anyone could shed some light on David Lloyd membership / joining fees...
Don't want to sit through a hard sell only to find out it is extortionate. Have read that the fees are likely to be in excess of £75 per month - we're looking for a joint membership with no tennis / squash required.
Also, if anyone has any info re Creche costs that would be great.
Club will be either Basildon or Southend
Thanks

The fees do depend on whether you want off peak or full but either way you will be very lucky to get joint membership for £75. I pay 70 for a single full use which is I know is extortionate but I guess you dont chose DL for any kind of money saving

During the summer my DL runs offers for free use of the gym for 12 days for non members where you can decide if the fees will be worth it for you - Thats how I got dragged in:D Might be worth you doing this first to see if you would get the value out of it. I never had a hard sell from them to be fair.
Cant help on creche fees im afraid but the word is they are equally extortionate. Oh and make sure you are sure before you make a decision they will make you enter a 12 month contract and after that its 3 months notice before you can leave.0
