Cheap to run colour laser printer

I have currently got a Dell 3100CN Colour Laser Printer with a duplex unit attached but the Drum Cartridge has gone and now I am trying to decide whether to replace the printer or just get a new drum cartridge (£150ish).
The Dell is about 5 - 6 years old and although it's a good printer, I'm just wondering if now is the time to sell it and get a more up to date printer.
Can anyone recommend a good cheap to run colour laser printer? I'm preferrably looking for a single pass printer (where all the toners are in a line rather than on a carousel).

Samsung are good for the price, cheaper ones less than your Dell toner .

Thanks, I have had a look at the ones you suggested but the toners are very expensive for a fairly low page life - even on ebay.shammyjack wrote: »Samsung are good for the price, cheaper ones less than your Dell toner .

My Dell toners can be bought for about £25 - £35 with a page life of around 4000 pages. The cheapest toner for the Samsung CLP315 was £35 with a page life of 1500 pages
One advantage of the Samsung though is there's no Drum cartridge (the bit that's gone in my printer) so you'll never have to shell out £150ish for that.0 -
There's a Dell here complete with 2 toner cartridges. I'm not sure how it compares to your current one though.
