Free International Music Festival - London 20/06/10

A free international music and culture festival takes over the institutions on and around Exhibition Road in South Kensington on 20 June. Classical to urban, folk to jazz, new and established musical acts perform a range of styles. Visitors are invited to try music and dance workshops and explore art and science installations which replace traffic on Exhibition Road from 10.00 – midnight.

This exciting free festival of live international music includes a wide range of genres and styles. Partners in this event include up to 14 national organisations based in South Kensington (listed below). Over 30,000 people attended this event in 2009 and it is hoped we will have an even more positive response this year! It’s also part of a wider European Music Festival that promotes free music on the nearest weekend to 21 June each year.
