    House prices have been falling in my area for many months now. So the double dip just isn't just speculation, it's a cast-iron fact.
    i wouldn't have minded if you had said Stockport prices were dropping because it may be true but seeing that you're in London it looks like it's a bit of a lie that "House prices have been falling in my area for many months now".

    Yes, what I said is correct. There are 32 boroughs in London and house price statistics are available for each individual borough. In my borough prices have fallen for many months now even according to the doctored 'official' figures. Not that any sensible person takes them seriously anyway.

    which borough is that then... i'd love to see which borough "prices have fallen for many months", a couple I can believe but "many months"?
