Just got this e-mail from Medion...
Dear ...
I am afraid we will not be stocking this particular PDA any longer
Refurbished stock is the last of the unsold stock we hold of a
particular item.
It is likely that we will be selling other refurbished PDA models on
the webshop, however I could not tell you when this would be.
RegardsDon't blame me, it was like that when I got here!0 -
just received mine this morning! First glance looks ok, quite a few accesseries, and 2 x 256MB MMC CARDS too! Just put it to charge, will test the GPS out today or tomorrow, thanks to the original poster0

What's the condition of the unit like? Does it have built in gps or a seperate gps mouse?
Here's hoping mine gets delivered. The delivery date on my order tracking has changed to today

It has a seperate gps mouse, so isn't portable
.
Those lucky enough to grab one of these, there are a couple of 'firmware' updates for this item.
Go to www.medion.co.uk , click the 'Service & Support' tab, then 'Drivers & Updates' from the menu on the left and enter MD40600 in the MD/LT number box to search for them.
My delivery date has changed to today, I'm like a kid on Christmas morning!

Have to find a cunning way to mount it all though.0 -

I think you might as well ask 'Anyone got a few £20 notes they don't want?'.
These are a steal at £80.0 -
Mine has just turned up by courier.
Can't find anything wrong with it, no scratches or any cosmetic damage (I was a little worried about the 'B' grade).
The two MMC chips are the maps for North and South.
I must contemplate backing thinsg up before I start messing around.
Thanks again Mew.
