Faulty Kettle

Got a good Kettle given to me for xmas from my mum.
The past few days the lid has started to open while in boil mode = product is faulty, i have the original box it came in but no receipt, can i do anything about it?

    yes, the original box with their catalogue number on is your proof of purchase.
    You wont get a refund but should be offered (at best) an exchange (at worst) a repair. Hope this helps.:)

    the box if it has the slip with date time than defo a replacement, now you didnt say what make it is, as some times they ask you to go to the service shops and they than repair or exchange for you. its worth a try best thing is to ask the people working there and see what they say rather than to take a kettle there and erm you know.

    Argos don't repair kettles, you should just get a replacement/exchange

    yep, theyll replace it no problem, just tell them it was a gift so no receipt, theyll replace it.

  • if they dont buy a new one keep reciept then return in few weeks for a refund telling them u had to get a new one but u couldnt wait til they opened or you didnt come into town that often

    No they don't repair them...but they do send them back to certain manufacturers who then repair them.:p
