I took some of the advice in the above thread and am going to see an independant mortgage adviser.
I've agreed a price, appointed a solicitor and although I've got the outline terms of an agreement with the Halifax I am going to see what else is out there.
Is there anything I should look out for or be aware of? I've done quite a bit of reading on mortgages etc. but nothing is like first hand experience.
I know they get the same fee whoever I agree with.
