Share your community task force experiences

I think I might be referred to the community task force (CTF) programme in the not too distant future. I'd be grateful to anyone who can share their experiences so I can mentally prepare for what's to come. The only information my job centre advisor offered was that I'd be expected to earn in the region of £15 extra per week during the three month CTF contract, although for 25 hours per week I'd have thought £115 would have been more appropriate! Anyways, any information regarding CTF would be appreciated. For example, will I be referred to a provider like a4e or simply passed on to a charity or office based organisation who will brief me on the duties I am required to perform?

You don't get benefit, but you do get a training allowance which is £15.38/wk in excess of benefit.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0
