    has anyone tried....

Dating Direct Looking for love? Subscribe to DatingDirect and earn 2,000 PiggyPoints

Have looked at the sign up page and it gives prices for joining... but doesn't actually state you have to take a paid subscription, but does state as one of the T&C's - This offer is based on your dating profile being accepted as stated in Dating Direct's Terms and Conditions.

Might be worth making up a profile if there's 2,000 pp's up for grabs for no cash outlay? - Have signed up. so will see what happens :-)

How long do CD Wow points usually take does anyone remember? The T and Cs page seems to have gone a bit strange at the moment.

    Thanks

  • hi there im normally more of a lurker in here but reguarding the dating on pigsback i also tried this serveral weeks ago and had no points added so i emailed pigs back and this was the reply

Apologies for the delay replying to your e-mail.

It is clearly stated on the Dating Direct offer page how many PiggyPoints are credited for each subscription. Unfortunately I cannot credit PiggyPoints to your account for signing up to the 3 Day Trial.

If you have any further queries, please do not hesitate to contact me.

    Kind Regards,

Thanks for that MissDryad.. I must be stoopid or something, because I cant see anywhere that states you have to become a premier (paid) member to get the points?.. all I can see is - Subscribe to DatingDirect and earn 2,000 PiggyPoints.. I presume we have to guess as to which subscription it is then? ;)

ho hum.. was worth a try I suppose :-)

Why not just let somebody who can make use of the pass win it then by not entering?

I don't understand the need to enter EVERY competition, regardless of if you want the prize/can even use the prize.

More to the point, i'm sure that i've read you can have account closed down if you repeatedly enter competitions for NI piggies only.

When I entered the competition, and posted it above, I didn't realise it was for NI piggies only, as it was not obvious to me. Normally it comes up with an error message, when I've mistakenly clicked on NI only comps... hence my *EDIT* ;)

I totally agree with you about letting somebody else make use of the pass, but from the link, it isn't obvious that it's only for NI piggies. I found the question through a link to the photo competition next to it, and didn't notice that it had been posted before.

The 'selling it on ebay' joke was just me trying to blag my way out of my embarrassment of not realising the prize wasn't relevant for me :o

Guess I'd best leave the competition link postings to the 'experts'... :silenced:
