Sorry if my first post caused confusion and thanks to kathfisch for clarifying it.

I tried to figure it out exactly by going back to the log in page as I recalled seeing something about 50 points but thought it was all for new subscribers to PB but if you scroll down the page, it offers 50 points for basic personal details, 50 points for subscribing to the news letters and another 50 points for choosing interests. As I had to re-tick my subject categories and then amended personal details before realising points were added, I couldn't be sure precisely which one gave me the points. I hope this makes more sense now, lol!
